Ms. Linda
Ms. Linda has been teaching elementary children for over 23 years. She has a BS degree in education from Mansfield University, and is a certified Wilson tutor. She is a "teacher at heart" desiring to see all of her students grow and succeed.
Ms. Jen
Ms. Jen absolutely loves teaching! She grew up in New York City, and still lives there. In her senior year of college, she participated in a cultural exchange program at Seoul Women's university in Seoul, South Korea, and truly enjoyed learning about Korean culture. This led to teaching English at the Intensive SWELL Program at Seoul Women's University. Upon returning to the United States, she received her Masters of Science in Education from Brooklyn College. She went on to teach elementary school in New York's inner city for five years, and is certified to teach from Kindergarten through 12th grade. For the past 10 years, Ms. Jen has enjoyed homeschooling her children, where they enjoy learning about the world around them, baking cookies, and taking walks in the park.
Ms. Alice
After graduating from Secondary school and University of British Columbia in Canada and earning a master's degree from Graduate school of English Education in Korea, Ms. Alice has been working as a private tutor and an English teacher at her current middle school for more than 10 years. Ms. Alice promises to become a helper for students to develop further based on her work experience.
Ms. Ellen
Ms. Ellen taught freshman composition and remedial English at Penn State Abington and tutored writing, reading, and study skills in the PSA Learning Center for over 20 years. She has been a substitute teacher for the past four years, teaching pre-school through eighth grade. She has a BS degree in secondary education from Bob Jones University and a MA degree in English with a concentration in writing from Arcadia University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and walking her dogs. Helping students become more confident communicators by improving their writing skills and manipulating the English language are two of her goals as an educator and professional writing tutor.
Ms. Youn
Ms. Youn is passionate about teaching young children. She has an M.Ed and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching students in various early childhood settings for over 5 years. Her experience of teaching has helped her see values in building close relationships with students and helping them grow as a person and a learner.
Ms. Aileen
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in English Studies, Ms. Nam went to Korea and spent five years teaching in academies, training other language teachers, and writing content for textbooks. She continues teaching students privately upon returning to the United States. Ms. Nam enjoys teaching English, but enjoys connecting and building relationships with her students even more.
Ms. Joy
She graduated from Cairn University with a degree in Youth/Children and family ministry. She loves kids and teaching them. Moreover she loves watching them grow and learn .
Mrs. Sally
She loves to read book with kids and she is a teacher for book clubs in KAJECA. She is not also reading books together with students but also helping students to write responses after students read books. She has abundant experience to work with various grades of students.
Mr. Scott
After graduating from the University of Connecticut, Scott worked in children’s counseling for two years. He started teaching English as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal. He has taught English at Yonsei, Sogang, University of South Florida and KAIST. He loves teaching children and has taught elementary, middle and high school students in Florida and Korea. Scott has a Masters of Science in Education from Troy University.
Mrs. Judy
Judy Curlee, Ph.D. has been teaching English for many years, off and on, since graduating from the University of Notre Dame, After earning her Ph.D. in literature from Emory University, she stayed home to raise three children, Anna, Olivia, and Roman. Now she teaches writing part-time at Drexel University, sings in a choir, and serves on an arts center board in her hometown of Yardley, PA. Before working with the Korean student here at KAJECA, she tutored international high school students from China. Her work as an English teacher reflects her belief that we all have so much to learn from one another across cultures in the 21st century.
Two fun facts about her: Dr. Curlee loves her cat Blackie and dog Buddy. She collects dictionaries.
Mrs. Narae
With a TESOL diploma and several years of teaching experience, she can easily understand students' needs and find the best effective ways for her students. She loves teaching and is always welcome to share thoughts with students. Her interactive and energetic way of teaching will enable students to improve English skills with efficiency and effectiveness
Mrs. Art, General Manager in Asian regions
She is working with KAJECA in terms of advertising and supporting parents in Asian regions. She supports parents who wants to register our program. She administrates special events for KAJECA students occasionally.
Mr. Daniel, IT Manager
He has been managing various types of websites to enhance its business and marketing for many years. He has been passionate and enjoying his job. He created and administrated perfectly matched to its preference.
